• Jessi Marcus - a pastor in our church who consistently centers care of the person over dogma, who sees the heart as far greater than the "right answer," and never ceases to challenge me to become a better version of myself.

What inspired you to be part of TEDxKU?

• My local coaching network (ICF Heartland) has been an incredible support and suggested repeatedly that I should speak about my experiences and perspectives on disability and aging. I was nominated by someone from the group and I am so honored to be thought of for the TEDx stage... and a little overwhelmed by it as well. I am grateful to be part of such a great event & platform!
